The Dayanand Anglo Vedic Model Senior Secondary School is the first and foremost bilingual educational organisation which was established by some of the renowned educationist of the town in the year 1970. The motto in establishing the organisation is to promote the vedic culture in the most backward and rural districts of Orissa through education in HINDI and ENGLISH medium with the define thoughts of Swami Dayanand Saraswati the school begins and ends up with the real values of life through education Service is define is the prime motto of the school with an objective to provide ” Quality Education to its kith and kin.

The school promotes the spirit of secularism, nominal integrity and universal brotherhood in the hearts of the children. It is open to the students of all communities irrespective of caste and creed. The committee staffs of the organisation devote themselves to transplant the seeds of the love and affection indiscriminately.

The school is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and follows the syllabus implemented by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) from top to bottom i.e. Class I to Class XII The school is also affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education for Class X. i.e. for ALL INDIA SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION (AISSE) as well as class XII in the four branches i.e. HUMANITIES, SCIENCE, FASHION DESIGNING (F.D.) and AUXILIARY NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (ANM), which prepares the students to appear ALL INDIA SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATED EXAMINATION (AISSCE) conducted by CBSE in MARCH every year.
